Vistas Sketching Holidays would like to wish all clients past, present and future, a peaceful and enjoyable festive period, wherever you find yourselves. From a very wet and windy Lochinver, I am very much looking forward to feeling the sun on my back and enjoying some beautiful places with some of you.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
From the middle of next year (2024) there will be some changes to the format and frequency of the Vistas calendar as I take an extended sabbatical for personal travel.
The holidays will still be running!
They will, however, be fewer, and in clusters, with longer periods in between trips, to avoid lots of to-ing and fro-ing with all the environmental and cost implications that would entail.
In addition, I will be adjusting all the prices to reflect that art materials will NOT be included, for the time being. Detailed materials lists will be provided, of course.
Please keep checking the website – the Year Planner, the individual trip pages and this blog – for altered departure dates and other changes. Or drop me an email at any time. I’m always happy to hear from you!
Morocco in March?
There are spaces on the ‘Discover Morocco’ 12-night trip, beginning March 17th. This trip includes art materials and is a guaranteed departure.
This itinerary tends to get oversubscribed, so if you’re interested in joining, don’t leave it too late.
Scotland
There are three itineraries in Northern Scotland in May and June 2024.
Scotland will be off the menu in 2025, returning in 2026. As this is not yet certain, it’s best to book for next summer, while you can!
Italian Dolomites
The first port of call on my travels will be the Dolomites, where I shall be checking out the locations for a revised painting holiday. The Dolomites trips have not been as popular as the others, which is rather baffling, since it’s one of the most beautiful regions on Earth. My aim is to address that, and get the trip/s running for 2026
Sri Lanka
Gorgeous beaches, gentle culture, fabulous food and cool, misty tea country – Sri Lanka has everything. So much so, there are TWO trips running in 2024: In January (fully booked) and again in November. But be quick! After a few difficult years this beautiful country is more than ready for visitors and the trips are filling up fast. It’s likely Sri Lanka will also take a break in 2025, though I might squeeze in a departure if demand is high.
Better to be safe than sorry … enquire now for November 2024!
